Who is Robert Stanley Harland?

Hi, I'm Robert. I grew up in both Mississauga and Brantford, and now I reside in Ward 5 with my own growing family. I work in logistics/inventory management, and I'm also head of the Joint Health & Safety Committee, helping, coaching and caring about people is what I do everyday.

Let me represent you, and I promise I will bring back critical thinking and compassionate leadership to City Hall. I believe in a common sense approach with affordability, sustainability, and accountability in mind. I've listened as I've gone door-to-door, and will continue to do so as I get to work for you and your neighbourhood downtown.

We deserve better, so please join me, and support me as I continue to lead, by listening first. Lawn signs are the best method of support, donations are always welcomed but not required, as I'm running a small budget campaign. My goal is to make life safer and more comfortable for everyone, and to put more money in your pocket, not to take it.

My Experience

15+ Years of Experience in Customer Service, Inventory and Team management.
10+ years of Experience in creating, implementing and executing Health & Safety policies and procedures as well as Store Management & Maintenance.
Experienced in Construction, Electrical and several other trades.
Volunteered for the Salvation Army, SPCA, Power of Sports 4 Kids, Jumpstart and various youth sports teams.
Honored with a 2009 Barrie Police Recognition Award for my actions with assisting officers wounded in the line of duty.
